[TIG takes convergence to the next level with Unified Communications & Collaboration in the Northwest]

San Diego, CA — June 18, 2012 —Technology Integration Group (TIG), a leading global IT solutions provider announced that it has completed the acquisition of IP (Internet Protocol) Communications systems integrator, Obsidian Technologies. Obsidian Technologies is a full-service network integrator with primary market focus in the public and private sector throughout Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. With offices in Bend and Eugene, Oregon, Obsidian Technologies has been successfully designing, deploying and supporting VOIP/IPTEL solutions including networks, security WLAN and remote access over 10 years. Obsidian reached approximately $5 million in 2011 revenues. This acquisition fits well in TIG’s strategic growth plan by adding rock-solid IP Communication solutions to its current Unified Communications and Collaboration offerings for clients throughout the United States and abroad. The newly formed Oregon office will be off to a great start with the many years of expert experience from Obsidian Principals Tony Foy and David Markey as well as other very strong new hires expected to join TIG. This is the fourth acquisition in recent months; the others were Commercial Data Systems (CDS), Integrity Networks Solutions and WAVEnet Technologies totaling 14 acquisitions for TIG.

“TIG’s reach and experience is well respected and carries an advantageous range of services. I look forward to exploring and growing the highest levels of integrated end-to-end solutions in the Northwest now and into the future” said Tony Foy former President of Obsidian Technologies.

“Business today is being replaced by a workforce born in the rapidly evolving digital age who is accustomed to real time connection and information at all times” said Bruce Geier, TIG President/CEO. “It’s a paradigm shift and something that will fundamentally transform the way companies do business. This acquisition will add the rich communication technology our clients need in driving faster and smarter decisions for the connected world”.
