SAN DIEGO – August 19, 2010 – Technology Integration Group (TIG), the premier IT systems integrator with locations throughout the US and in Asia, today announced that Chief Financial Officer Tom Janecek was named CFO of the Year in the medium private business category at the 2010 San Diego Business Journal (SDBJ) CFO of the Year awards. The awards ceremony took place on Thursday, August 12 at the Doubletree Hotel in San Diego.

 

Janecek, who joined TIG in 1990, oversees all financial, accounting and personnel departments for the company. Under his leadership, TIG has continued to be profitable every year since the company’s founding in 1981. The company has also grown substantially and now has 20 offices throughout the US and one in Asia.

The SDBJ CFO of the Year awards program recognizes the most outstanding CFOs who work in the San Diego area. An independent panel of judges selected winners in five categories including public company, private company, government agency, nonprofit organization and business nonprofit. Nominees were judged on criteria that included: contribution to financial growth, positive impact on other areas of the organization, career achievement and community involvement
