This 90-minute, interactive, session will focus on Microsoft Surface devices, how they work better together with your Office applications, show off key demos for using pen and touch in Windows, and how your organization can become more productive in a modern workplace. We'll also show you new collaboration technologies using the Surface Hub 2S and key tools to maintaining productivity in a mobile workforce.

His passions beyond technology include globe-trotting, photography, event planning, and crafting snarky social media posts.

Melanie Wood - Senior Surface Specialist | Microsoft
Melanie has been at Microsoft for 6 years and has spent the last 10 years working exclusively with Public Sector customers in the IT/computing industry. As the technical subject matter expert for the Microsoft Surface portfolio, she supports government agencies across California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Idaho. The mission at Microsoft is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Digitally transforming and modernizing workplaces with long-term goals of maximizing end-user employee satisfaction, talent attraction, and talent retention - all while achieving lower total costs of ownership – is a big part of empowering people and organizations to achieve more. From roadmap conversations to setting up Microsoft Surface deployment training sessions and on-site professional end-user training on Surface + Windows, the goal is to ensure that our customers have the best experiences of Microsoft. In short, she loves helping government agencies get the best overall value and experience of Windows 10 and M365 on Microsoft Surface.

JOIN US FOR A MICROSOFT AZURE & UNIFIED COMMUNICATION WORKSHOP

The first part of the workshop will focus on the fundamentals of the Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform and how to provide additional security and visibility for cloud-bound traffic and SaaS solutions.

The second part of the workshop will provide you with best practices around cloud security, identity, unified communications, and assess and remedy the risk of all cloud apps running in your organization.

There will be a mixture of lectures, demonstrations and exercises throughout the event.
