San Diego, CA—Technology Integration Group (TIG) announced today that Georgia Vasilion has been promoted to Vice President of Public Sector for the company. Vasilion has been with TIG since 1999, when the company owned by her and her husband Bill was acquired by TIG. In her most recent role as Director of Public Sector for the company, Vasilion has been instrumental in the growth of the company’s public sector business, and in particular has championed the growth of the education vertical market, which helped to result in TIG being named Education Integrator of the Year by CRN.

The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. TIG maintained a Gold Composite Performance Rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct. 1, 2009 to Sept. 30, 2010. This is the second year in a row that TIG has received this recognition from Boeing.
